The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in 2022 developed a new provincial ranking system, called Provincial Green Index (PGI), besides the PCI.

At present, people in An Thanh commune, Tu Ky district, and Vinh Lap commune, Thanh Ha district, are busy collecting main-crop ruoi (ragworm).
753 disadvantaged pupils in Thanh Mien, Tu Ky, and Thanh Ha districts and Hai Duong city have been supported with learning expenses totaling nearly 1.7 billion VND.
