On June 4 afternoon, the force on duty at the Covid-19 checkpoint at Tu O bridge in Tan Trao commune, Thanh Mien district, found a leather wallet with many papers and cash inside.

After having checked and compared several personal papers in the wallet with the record book at the checkpoint, the working team determined that Nguyen Van Hai, residing in Pham Kha commune, Thanh Mien, forgot the wallet when completing the procedure of medical declaration.

The team has contacted and returned all papers and VND8.7 million in cash to Hai.

Earlier, on May 16 evening, the force on duty at Cau Dao checkpoint in Chi Lang Nam commune, Thanh Mien, also handed over a bag to Dao Thi Tuoi (born in 1970 and residing in Thuy Loi commune, Tien Lu district, Hung Yen province), who forgot the bag when stopping her vehicle for medical declaration. There were a cell phone, a jewelry bag, and more than VND23 million in cash in the bag.

Dong returns money to the person who dropped it

At 10.30 am on June 2, Pham Van Dong (63 years old in Ngoc Chau ward, Hai Duong city) picked up VND20 million in the carpark of Hai Duong Rehabilitation Hospital in his tour of guard duty there.

He temporarily took away the money and continued working so that until the end of his shift, if no one came to receive the money, he would report and send it to the board of directors of the hospital.

About 30 minutes later, Dang Thi Bich in Tay Hao street, Ngoc Chau ward, came to find and proved that the money was hers. Dong returned the money to Bich.

Dong’s deed has been praised by many people.
