With 42.81 points in the 2020 Provincial Governance and Public Administration Performance Index (PAPI), Hai Duong was placed 14th in a group of 16 high-average provinces and cities in the country.
It was preceded by 16 provinces and cities with very high scores and followed by a low-average group and a group with the lowest scores.
The information was announced by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) on the morning of April 14.
According to the announcement, the Participation at Local Levels sub-index was given 5.16 points; Transparency, 5.43 points; Vertical Accountability, 4.86 points; Control of Corruption, 7.07 points...
Compared to 2019, the score of the Control of Corruption sub-index rose by 0.19 points, but the scores of many other sub-indexes fell, such as Public Service Delivery and Environmental Governance with decreases of 0.45 points and 0.06 points...
