Chairman of Binh Giang district People's Committee Nguyen Trung Kien has been appointed as head of the provincial Industrial Zones Authority (IZA).
The appointment decision was made by the provincial People’s Committee and handed over to Kien by the committee chairman Trieu The Hung at an announcement event on February 28.

The chairman of the provincial People’s Committee suggested that Kien and the provincial IZA focus on reviewing the entire operation and management of the unit and the production and investment status of enterprises in industrial parks.
“The provincial IZA should proactively work out measures to speed up administrative reform to contribute to removing difficulties of businesses and improving the provincial business and investment environment,” added Hung.
The new provincial IZA leader Nguyen Trung Kien thanked the provincial Party and People's Committees for their trust and appointment and promised to be creative and dedicated to work, strengthen unity in the IZA, and fulfill all assigned tasks.
Kien will hold office for five years as from March 1 in place of former head Tran Anh Tuan.
