The provincial Union of Friendship Organizations, South Korea’s Good People International (GPI), and the People’s Committee of Kim Thanh district co-organized a ceremony on November 28 morning to hand over a classroom building to Chuan Thung hamlet Kindergarten in Kim Dinh commune.

Addressing the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Duc Tuan, Member of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board, Chairman of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the provincial Union of Friendship Organizations, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of GPI Lee Young Hoon affirmed that this was an important work showing the two countries’ friendship.

The success of the project contributed to realizing the policy of promoting the socialization of education and training, developing the provincial education in a comprehensive and solid direction, and diversifying, standardizing, and modernizing types of preschool education to meet learning needs of children in the province.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Tuan thanked GPI for its sincere affection and help and hoped that the organization would continue to help Hai Duong build more works.

GPI constructed a two-storey building with six classrooms, one kitchen, and one working room for teachers at Chuan Thung hamlet Kindergarten with a total budget of over 5 billion VND as non-refundable aid.
The use of the work will create a bright, green, clean, beautiful, and safe learning environment for 120 children there.
Before the construction, there were only three seriously-degraded classrooms at the kindergarten.
