The provincial People’s Committee held a ceremony at the Xu Dong Cultural Center on November 17 afternoon to celebrate the 40th Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 – 2022).

In attendance at the ceremony were Mr. Tran Duc Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; Mr. Le Van Hieu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Head of the provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies; Mr. Trieu The Hung, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; leaders of the provincial People’s Council and Committee, departments, boards, branches, and unions and People’s Committees at district, provincial town, and city levels; meritorious, excellent, and typical teachers of the province from 1982 to 2022; among others.

Speaking at the ceremony on behalf of the leaders of the provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Duc Thang affirmed that generations of teachers, with love for their profession, native land, and country, have been working hard with each page of lesson plans and each lecture to bring the quintessence of knowledge to life, form and nurture the personality of the younger generation – the future owners of the country. People always look towards generations of teachers with respect and gratitude.

The secretary of the provincial Party Committee was happy to see the provincial teachers and educational managers’ increasing development in both quantity and quality and the arrangement and development of schools and classes to meet learning needs of people’s children. At the ceremony, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Duc Thang awarded a 3rd-class Labor Order of the President to Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training Do Duy Hung for his excellent achievements in education and training from the 2017-2018 school year to the 2021-2022 school year, contributing to the cause of socialism building and national defense.
58 typical and outstanding teachers also received certificates of merit from the Prime Minister and the provincial People's Committee.
