[Photos] War Invalids and Martyrs Day honored on 75th anniversary

Each year, activities are held to honor martyrs and wounded soldiers who sacrificed their lives for liberation and reunification.

Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam, Head of the Steering Committee on Search and Repatriation of Remains of Fallen Soldiers, and other delegates launch a website on the martyrs’ database. The actions effectively digitize their remembrance as a symbol of eternal respect for their ultimate sacrifice

A working delegation on its way to visit Truong Sa island district offshore of Khanh Hoa province holds a ceremony to offer incense and flower wreaths to soldiers who defended the nation’s sea and island sovereignty.
