Cai hoa vang is a famous sticky rice variety of Kinh Mon town. With typical fragrance and glutinosity, the special rice variety has conquered the pickiest consumers.

Kinh Mon's cai hoa vang sticky rice is harmonious crystallization of alluvial soil accreted by four rivers of Da Vach, Kinh Thay, Kinh Mon, and Han Mau and rich mountains and hills there

There are about 600 ha of cai hoa vang sticky rice in Kinh Mon town, concentrated in the communes and wards of An Phu, Duy Tan, Long Xuyen...

Different from other sticky rice varieties, Kinh Mon's cai hoa vang grains are plump, round, pure white, and typically fragrant

Steamed rice is glutinous, strongly fragrant, and unbroken. Apart from steaming, cai hoa vang sticky rice is also used to make com (green rice flakes) or wine

Wine brewed from Kinh Mon's cai hoa vang sticky rice has a typical aroma and leaves soft sweetness after drinking. This is also a very popular specialty

The town's cai hoa vang sticky rice has a collective label besides a commodity code granted by the Directorate for Standards, Metrology, and Quality, thus no longer being equated with other similar products on the market and becoming increasingly well-known to consumers

Kinh Mon's cai hoa vang sticky rice was one of 150 products granted the Vietnamese agricultural golden brand in 2017. Thanks to its good brand name and quality, Kinh Mon's cai hoa vang sticky rice is stably sold for higher prices than other sticky rice varieties
