Vietnamese people in RoK should not rush home

THURSDAY, 05/03/2020 15:26:47

Recently, Vietnamese people in the Republic of Korea (RoK) have rushed home for fear of Covid-19.

Upon arrival, they were medically isolated, increasing the burden on the national epidemic prevention system. If contracting the disease, they may infect the community.

In the RoK, the epidemic is happening complicatedly but only in a few localities. On the other hand, the country has a progressive medical background.

Vietnamese students and laborers in the RoK should stay and strictly follow recommendations of the country's health sector instead of being worried.

Appropriate authorities should mobilize families whose relatives are living, studying, or working in the RoK to persuade the relatives to protect themselves and not to return to Vietnam without necessary and urgent reasons.
