Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Pham Xuan Thang hails Japan's Hitachi Zosen Corporation for research on building a waste treatment plant generating power in Hai Duong
Permanent members of the Party Committee of Hai Duong province on July 15 afternoon worked with Japan-based Hitachi Zosen Corporation on its proposal to build a waste treatment plant generating power in the province.
Mr. Pham Xuan Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Council, thanked the corporation for coming to work with Hai Duong authorities and introducing advanced waste treatment technology.
He affirmed that waste treatment is an issue that Hai Duong authorities are interested in with a desire to build a plant to treat all waste of the province, including urban waste and rural domestic waste.

Hai Duong is thriving, so the amount of waste will certainly increase sharply in the coming time. Therefore, the corporation should study and calculate the construction of a plant capable of treating about 1,500 tons of waste/day.
The Secretary of the provincial Party Committee appreciated the waste treatment technology introduced by the corporation. Therefore, the permanent members of the provincial Party Committee agreed to its proposal to research on investing in a plant in Hai Duong.
The provincial authorities will provide necessary data and create the best conditions for the corporation to conduct a feasibility study.
The corporation was asked to complete the project feasibility study as soon as possible.
