On November 22 afternoon, 10 specialties of Hai Duong were introduced at the Vietnam Regional Specialties Fair 2017 in Ha Noi by the Department of Industry and Trade.

The specialties consisted of ramie cakes (Ninh Giang); green bean cakes (Hai Duong city); guavas, pomelos (Thanh Ha), kudzu, nep cai hoa vang glutinous rice (Kinh Mon); honey (Chi Linh); organic rice from ruoi (Tylorrhynchus heterocheatus) grounds, products made of ruoi (Tu Ky); and winter vegetables (Gia Loc).
These products were carefully selected with clear origin. Some were granted food safety and hygiene certificates. The vegetables, tubers, and fruits alone got VietGAP certificates.
The province-based enterprises mainly attend this fair to seek connection opportunities to sell products at some supermarkets and restaurants in Ha Noi and a number of neighboring cities, according to a representative of the Department of Industry and Trade.
The fair is taking place until November 26 with 200 booths and about 250 participating enterprises.
