Reception of FLC’s funding for construction planning, research on investment proposals cancelled

The provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board has announced the cancel of receiving FLC Group’s funding for construction planning and research on proposals for investment in the province.

The Party Civil Affairs Board of the provincial People's Committee was assigned to direct relevant agencies and units to organize implementation in accordance with regulations.

Earlier, at a meeting on November 10, the Party Civil Affairs Board of the provincial People's Committee reported to and requested the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board to advocate the cancel of receiving funding for planning regarding FLC Group’s planning and construction projects in the province.

Concerned localities are responsible for allocating funds from the State budget to make and submit construction plans to competent authorities for approval according to regulations.

If wishing to call for funding for construction planning, localities shall comply with instructions of the Ministry of Construction and the Department of Finance and relevant regulations.

The disallowance of FLC Group to research on proposing investment in the province was approved.

In 2020 and 2021, the provincial People's Committee advocated FLC Group’s funding to make five plans, including subdivision planning for the construction of Ho Ben Tam urban, resort, ecological, sport, and entertainment area in Bac An commune, Hoang Hoa Tham commune, and Ben Tam ward, Chi Linh city; subdivision planning for the construction of an urban, resort, ecological, sport, and entertainment area on Vinh Tru islet in Dong Lac commune, Chi Linh city; planning to adjust a new urban area to the north of Han bridge in Nam Sach district and Hai Duong city; subdivision planning for the construction of an urban, resort, ecological, sport, and entertainment area along the Thai Binh river, Hai Duong city; and detailed planning for the construction of a complex of a cultural center, service and commercial works, hotels, and town houses in the central area of Hai Duong city.

In the provincial Party Committee’s Notice No. 33-TB-TU dated December 15, 2020, the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board also advocated the selection of consultancies and signing of contracts to realize planning and construction projects using funds of organizations and individuals, including projects for which FLC Group proposed funding.
