85% of active industrial parks occupied

According to the Industrial Zones (IZs) Authority of Hai Duong province, 85% of 11 active IZs in the province have so far been occupied, leaving insignificant land available for lease.

79.5% of the total registered investment in the infrastructure of the IZs has been disbursed.

The 11 IZs have a total planned area of about 1,470 ha. To date, they have attracted 308 secondary projects, including 241 foreign direct investment projects with a total investment of nearly 4.9 billion USD and 67 domestic investment ones with a total capital of 11,100 billion VND.

The projects are providing jobs for 109,000 laborers with per capita income of around 7 million VND/ month.
