Today (November 16), three major network operators, namely Viettel, VinaPhone, and MobiFone, are officially providing the service of switching networks without changing phone numbers for postpaid subscribers.
The service is expected to be applied to prepaid subscribers from January 1, 2019.
Accordingly, the fee for each subscriber to switch his/her network without changing his/her phone number is VND60,000/ time, including the fee for network integration.
Customers can switch their network every 90 days.
Earlier, from November 1 to 14, 2018, 400 postpaid subscribers of Viettel, VinaPhone, and MobiFone in Hai Duong enjoyed a trial of the service. The switching was successful with no problem.
The telecom operators have propagandized the service since late 2017.
