Experience in improving operation quality of female deputies of National Assembly, provincial People's Council

The female deputies exchanged views about the role and responsibility of elective female deputies at all levels and experience in improving the quality of voter contact activities.


The Club of Female Deputies of the National Assembly and the Provincial People's Council attends a periodic activity themed "Experience and measures to improve the operation quality of female deputies of the National Assembly and the provincial People's Council"

Nearly 30 female deputies of the National Assembly and the People's Council of Hai Duong province in the 2017 – 2021 tenure, female leaders of some departments and sectors of the province, and representatives of the Australian People for Health, Education and Development Abroad (APHEDA) and the Irish Aid have participated in a periodic activity themed "Experience and measures to improve the operation quality of female deputies of the National Assembly and the provincial People's Council."

Attending the event, the female deputies exchanged views about the role and responsibility of elective female deputies at all levels and experience in improving the quality of voter contact activities.

Some elective female deputies shared their ways to choose contents, put questions, and convey voters' opinions and recommendations to specialized agencies and at meetings.

The participants unanimously suggested that authorities and sectors should pay adequate attention to gender equality and women's rights and the provincial authorities should continue to include criteria and indicators on the training, retraining, and use of female officials and laborers in local socio-economic development plans, etc.

The Club of Female Deputies of the National Assembly and the Provincial People's Council has 18 members.
