On 27th February morning (i.e 16th in lunar January), the Management Board of the Con Son - Kiep Bac Relic held an incense thurification ceremony to commemorate the Third Ancestor of Truc Lam Huyen Quang.

The incense offering ceremony was quickly but solemnly held to commemorate the Third Founder of Truc Lam Huyen Quang.
Every year, on 16th of lunar January, the Con Son - Kiep Bac Spring Festival is held on a large scale with many unique cultural activities, but it is not held this year so as to prevent the Covid-19 epidemic.
Huyen Quang's real name is Ly Dao Tai belonging to the Ly mandarin lineage, born in January of Giap Dan year (1254) in Van Tu village (now in Thai Bao commune, Gia Binh district, Bac Ninh province).
At the age of 21, he rank first place in the Giap Tuat Competition Exam, in the Bao Phu school year (1274). At that time, Huyen Quang is one of the talented intellectuals, famous for poetry, working at the Tran Dynasty Academy and was permitted to communicate with the North Korea envoy. However, like King Tran Nhan Tong, he left the place of mandarins, turned to religion, persisted in studying religion and compiled scriptures.
On 23rd January, 1334, he passed away at Con Son Pagoda at the age aged 80. The day of his death became the death commemoration day of the ancestor of Con Son Pagoda.
