UMC Electronics Vietnam Co Ltd unable to import raw materials from China

UMC Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd.'s production in Tan Truong industrial zone is facing difficulties.

The reason is that the company cannot import raw materials from China due to the impact of Covid-19.

Worried that the epidemic would last long while input materials were not enough for employees to work, so the company had to ask guidance of the Provincial Industrial Zones Authority about paying workers when they temporarily stop working.

The company is currently employing about 3,000 laborers.
